About Lenka

Lenka CEO, Massage Therapist, and Aspiring Chiropractor

With a foundation in hospitality and a Bachelor’s degree in BSQ Hospitality, I began my career managing a hotel in Europe. 

However, my passion for wellness and a desire for a better work-life balance led me to establish my own training clinic specializing in Deep Tissue Massage. As a mother of two, this career transition has allowed me to dedicate time to both my family and my professional aspirations.

My journey in massage therapy began at the age of 14, inspired by my mother, a therapist in Croatia. I started by assisting her in her business and practicing techniques during summers on the beaches. These early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for understanding the human body and its incredible ability to heal through touch.

I am committed to continuous learning and skill development, as I believe this field evolves with each new technique. Currently pursuing a degree in chiropractic care, I am on track to complete my studies in December 2026. This additional qualification will enhance my ability to help others achieve optimal physical health.

Teaching has become a core part of my mission. Sharing the techniques I’ve mastered over the years and helping students understand the profound impact massage therapy can have on the body—particularly in addressing injuries—is incredibly rewarding.

I aim to inspire the next generation of therapists to approach their work with the same passion and dedication I hold for this field.

Can I ask for more or less pressure?

Absolutely. Communication is key — I want you to feel safe and supported. Just let me know at any time if you’d like the pressure adjusted.

What is a “knot” in my muscle?

A “knot” is simply an area of muscle and fascia that has tightened from stress, tension, or overuse. It’s not abnormal. Massage helps release it, restore circulation, and improve movement.

What if I feel uncomfortable during the massage?

Please let me know right away. You’re always in control — we can adjust pressure, skip an area, or even stop the session if you wish.

What should I do before a massage?

Try to be hydrated, avoid a heavy meal right before, and arrive a few minutes early to relax. No special preparation is needed.

How often should I have a massage?

After treatment, allow at least 48 hours for recovery. Then weekly sessions are helpful for active recovery, and every 3 weeks is ideal for long-term balance and maintenance.

Is it normal to get emotional during a massage?

Yes. Massage can release stored tension and emotions. It’s completely natural, and you don’t need to feel embarrassed — it’s part of the healing process.
